The given bar graph reflects on coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five australian cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. Those are reflected on the x axis. The y axis represents the precentage of city residents from 20% to 70%. There are 3 bars that show: people who bought fresh coffe in last 4 weeks, people who bought instant coffe in last 4 weeks and people who went to a cafe for coffee or tea in last two weeks.
Melbourne is the city with the biggest precentage of people who went to the cafe in last two weeks: around 64%. The consumption of the instant coffee or fresh coffee at home is significantly lower: around 47% and 42%. The tendency, where people preffer to consume coffee or tea outside rather then doing coffee at home is visible for all cities with an exeption of Adelaide, where precentage of people consuming instant coffee slightly exeeds the precentage of people going to cafes: 50% compared to 49%. The second strongly visible tendency is unpopularity of fresh coffee. For instance, only around 34% of Brisbane citizens bought fresh coffe in last 4 weeks. The gap between consumption of fresh coffee and coffee or tea from cafe is huge.
To ellaborate on all written above, people from showen cities usually preffer to buy a coffee or tea in a cafe, instead of buying instant or fresh coffee.
