The two maps demonstrates how a bookstore have developed over the year 2000 and now.
Overall, the bookstore was a simple place with it’s features not complex in 2000, but a few changes occured in the present time we are in.
In 2000, the bookstore was enclosed in a compound, with it’s entrance very visible at the left side of the diagram. Inside, the travel shelf was located by your right, and left an aisle of new books. Just after that, you will close in on the service desk were people were attended to. Furthermore, a non-fiction area of books was situated at the right end of the building with shelves loaded with books about cookery, hoobbies and art opposite it. Moving ahead, you will see a fiction quarter, at the left hand side of the building also facing the non-fiction site. Going in, there are more fiction aisle.
Presently, the store is no longer enclosed but now in the open, with the travel shelf still right where it was, as well as the new books and the service desk. Changes were made further inside, with tables and chairs right where the cookery and other books were kept. By your right, a cafe was arranged to replace the non- fiction. Infront of it after the tables, the cookery and others were moved to stay side by side with the fiction and the non-fiction facing it.
Now, the bookstore looks more presentable with more resources than it had in 2000.
