Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m writing to inform you that last week, I accidently left my bag in the plane to London and I didn’t realize until I arrived at my hotel.

I was visiting London last week for a business meeting. Unfortunately, due to the unfavorable flying conditions the flight experienced a delay in departure and as as consequence at arrival too. My business meeting was impacted as a result of the delay. Immediately after landing & docking I rushed towards the exit so as to make up for lost time. As a result, I forgot to take my bag which I had kept in the overhead compartment.

My bag is black in color. It’s primarily a laptop backpack and contains my Dell laptop, a water bottle and the latest edition of the “People” magazine.

I’ve informed the authorities about the lost bag. I’d really appreciate it if you could check with your Lost & found department regarding my lost bag. Flight details are mentioned below:
