I am writing this letter to request that you reconsider your decision to close the entertainment centre in our neighbourhood. The centre holds significant importance for me and other community members.

Firstly, the centre is used for hosting community gatherings and making decisions regarding the neighbourhood. It is also utilized for events such as the New Year’s Eve Party. Secondly, the centre offers activities for the whole family, including swimming classes for children, tennis courts and gyms for adults, and a club for the elderly, as well as creating job opportunities for the local people. Therefore, it is very important for the society.

Moreover, my family and I spend a lot of time there on weekends as it is the only place in our community and is convenient. Additionally, it is the only place in our town where people can go to have fun and joy on the weekends. It also offers gathering places for families to have parties such as birthday parties or meetings. Furthermore, we use it every day for my children’s classes and my own gym visits.

Finally, if the centre is closed to save money, it will have a significant impact on many people in the community. This could potentially result in many families moving to other cities since they rely on the centre, leading to increased loneliness among elderly individuals who live alone and depend on the centre as their main form of connection. I believe that closing the centre will force many to give up sports, which will negatively affect their well-being.

I hope you take my view into consideration.
