TASK 1

The given maps illustrate how the current layout Isip Centre and the proposed plans for its development.

Overall, from the maps it is evident that the area has experienced significant modernization with major changes in infrastructure, while, some features have remained the same; other have completely transformed.

On the one hand, currently, Isip town centre is characterised by an east-west road that connects various amenities, including shops to the north and residential housing to the south. Moreover, the south-east area features a park, while a school is situated southwest of the main thoroughfare.

On the other hand, the Proposed development feature a dual Carriageway encircling the town centre, significat enhancing treaffic flow. In addition, there will be a new bus station and of shopping centre are Plamaed a car Park, also new Housing is Sitivated northeast of main thoroughfare. There are some feature ane remain stable. such as Park, Housing, school and Shop. furthermore, a Pedestrain Only zone will facilitate walking and reduce congestion.
