In general, all of the products experienced an upward trend in the sales of export except for the gems and jewellery. Compared with 2015, the export earnings of petroleum products remained the highest among five categories and the percentage change of textiles’ values witnessed the largest growth.
Among these categories, it is clear that the values of petroleum products ranked top both in the year 2015 and 2016 at above 60 billion, followed by engineered goods which surpassed 60 billion only in 2016. The sales of textile surged by 15.24% to 32 billion in 2016.
