The maps illustrate some changes that were made in the future in the town centre of Islip.
It is clear that some major changes will be made to the town centre. These include the building of a dual carriageway, new housing, and so on.
Looking at the maps in more detail, we can see several shops on either side of the main road. These ones are no longer available as planned. Instead, a new bus station, a huge shopping centre, and a small car park will be built on the north side of the road, the south side of the shop that is unchanged after the planned. However, the west-east side of the main road will be replaced and another road will be constructed that only pedestrians could use. This road will be surrounded via a new dual carriageway. The countryside will appear after development.
The two maps also show that improvement will be made to the housing facilities of the Islip. At present, there were two housings available on the bottom of the town centre. After refurbishment, a new house will be constructed just near the park, while the prior house moved to another area; those houses will have construction on both sides of the carriageway. A school, after scheming, there was no path to lead this institute.
