Dear Jerry,

Hope you’re doing well?

I have an unfavorable experience on my last visit to your place . I accidentally spoiled a coffee on the givenchy rug at the dining. It wasn’t my intention as I was carried away with the lovely meal the chef made, the aroma was enticing I forgot my etiquette manners.

I feel so bad about the incident and how expensive the rug cleaning can be, also putting in considering how time consuming the process can be. I know much you cherish and maintain the rug, which makes me feel so bad it was ruined cause of my manners.

I am willing to cover the costs of cleaning associated with the rug and if needs be, I can replace the rug entirely. Inasmuch it will be quite an expensive one on my wallet, I wouldn’t mind compensating for the stress if need be .
