I hope this letter find you well!

I am writing you to apologize for the rug accident that happend at the last weekend party.

I am verily sorry for tripping over my bag and spilling red wine on your carpet. I wish I would have been more careful and less drunk.

I know it is not just expensive, but is also very important for your family. As I know, this carpet belonged to your great-grandparents. It is your family legacy and you hold dear of it. I know, you said everything is all right and you do not hold any kind of grudge against me. Nevertheless, I feel bad about the incident. That is why I want to offer you my help with cleaning service. For example, I would gladly take all expenses on myself or help in any other way.
