Me and my colleague are planning to participate in a professional confrence together. I heard the confrence is being held multiple times in a year. We both wish to attend during winter time since it is the end of the year, our workload at the office are not as heavy as other seasons.

In terms of transportation to the confrence, We are planning to take a taxi from our hotel to the destination. Compare to subway, the travel time might take a while for about 15 minutes late, with higher fare around 3 dollars higher. However, when I look at the subway map in the city, it is quite complicated to understand, hence we are afraid to get lost and late for the confrence.

As for place to stay, the best way to share is by renting a house via AirBnB with 2 bedrooms. I looked at several accomodations around the same area of the confrence place, the price was reasonable enough. Also, we can have a comfortable place to work at midnight if necessary.
