Dear Colleagues,

I hope you all are doing good. As we all know, Jason one of our core team member is leaving the organisation. He is serving his notice period and this friday would be his last working day with us. He being a pioneer member of our team,his absence will be a great loss to the company especially give the efficiency he has shown in his work. Apart from work Jason has been quiet close to all of us personally as well. Overall, I will always remember Jason as a Star performer of her team as well as a warm and kiisnd person. That gives me enough reason to arrange a small party for his farewell.

Since it is winters, I think outdoor party would be difficult. I have planned for a roof top farewell at the place near the highway. I hope we all had been there last year for our New year celebration. The food there was delicious and the ambience was beautiful. Bookings are done for this Friday from 8:00 pm onwards. There is no strict dress code but business casuals would be appreciated, as it is an office party.

I have looked at the budget we have in hand for Jason’s gift. Since, we are collecting money every month for team events, the amount is more than I expected. I was sure of the gift for Jason thus could not ask your suggestions. A book would be a good gift for an avid reader like him.
