Dear Watson,

I am writing this regarding the opening of a new vacancy in the company. Recently, through the company newsletter, I came to know about an opening for the Marketing Manager.

Having about more than three years of experience, I would like to apply for the same. But further to, this I have something to ask about to you. Firstly, is the job on a permanent basis? Secondly, if I don’t get an opportunity to be selected my current post will remain unchanged or will it affect it?

In this matter, it will be a great help for me if you can recommend me for the post to the management. I would also like to know what type of responsibility, this post required. It will be nice to learn some basic tips for the interview.
