Dear Landlord,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to inform you that, due to an unexpected change in my employment, I am terminating my current rental agreement more quickly than planned.

I have recently been offered a new job in another city, and ask to join as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this means I must relocate earlier than I had originally anticipated.

I am vacating the property on 31 August 2026. Before leaving, I will ensure that the apartment is fully cleaned and returned in good condition, and my personal belongings will be removed.

To complete the tenancy smoothly, I would like to arrange a final inspection that is convenient for you before or on 31 August. After the final inspection, I will hand over all the keys in person. If you’re unavailable, then I am to leave the keys with their manager, or follow an alternative arrangement you prefer.

I sincerely appreciate your understanding of my condition and thank you for being a supportive landlord throughout my tenancy. Please let me know a suitable time for the final inspection.
