Dear Martha,

How are you doing? I’ve heard that you just got your bachelor’s degree. I’m so happy for you.

I was promoted last month and offered to do an internship in Berlin. I’ve been looking for apartments there, and then I remembered that you live in Berlin now! So I might need some advice from you. Can you recommend some real estate websites with apartments for rent?

I’m not sure about the area yet, but I want a secure one , since I’ll be there completely on my own. Public transport availability is crucial too. And if it’s an option, I’d like to live near the river. Of course , if it’s not too expensive.

I’m looking for a small one-bedroom apartment, maybe a studio. I do need a kitchen because I love cooking, but everything else is not that important. I’ll spend only three months in Berlin , anyway.

Thank you so much for your help! We should definitely meet when I arrive in Berlin.
