Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to let you know that our team will be holding a farewell party for Mr. David Carter, who will be leaving our company at the end of this month. David has been with us for more than five years, and during this time he has made an outstanding contribution to our department. We believe it is important to give him a warm send-off.

The party will be held on Friday, 15th September, at 6:30 p.m. in the Skyline Restaurant, Green Street. We have booked a private hall where we can enjoy dinner together and share some memories with David before he starts his new journey.

I would like to invite all of you to attend and make this event a memorable one. To cover the cost of food, drinks, and a farewell gift, I kindly request each colleague to contribute $15. Please pass your contribution to me by next Wednesday so we can make the necessary arrangements.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the party. Let us join together to show our appreciation and best wishes to David.

Best regards,
