Task Response

The letter addresses the task requirements by asking about the courses offered, the cost, and accommodation. There are some minor grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, but the overall message is clear. To improve, focus on using more precise language and proofreading for grammatical accuracy.

Coherence & Cohesion

The letter's organization is somewhat unclear, and the flow of ideas is frequently disrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. Paragraphing is present but doesn't fully support the logical progression of ideas. To improve coherence, focus on structuring your letter with clear topic sentences for each paragraph and using transitional phrases to connect ideas smoothly. For example, use phrases like 'Furthermore,' 'In addition to,' or 'Therefore' to link sentences and paragraphs logically.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary used is basic and lacks the range needed to express ideas clearly and precisely. There are instances of inappropriate word choice and a lack of sophistication in lexical features. To enhance your lexical resource, try to incorporate synonyms and a wider variety of vocabulary related to the topic of studying abroad and course inquiries. Use a thesaurus to find alternative words and phrases, and practice using them in context.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The letter contains numerous grammatical errors, including incorrect verb tenses, subject-verb agreement issues, and improper use of articles and prepositions. Sentence structure is often awkward and unclear, hindering effective communication. To improve grammatical accuracy, focus on reviewing basic grammar rules and practicing sentence construction. Pay attention to verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Consider using online grammar checkers or language learning resources to identify and correct errors.
