Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Artemis. I noticed some information about a plan that the local airport will be widen in these days. In other words, it is utterly logical that tourist numbers will rise as the number of flights increases.
Unfortunately, I live around the local airport. My apartment is located just two blocks away from it. Thus, I feel nervous and worried about the influence of the airport expansion. As the airport naturally grows, the frequency increases, the economy will also be significantly improved. However, the basic transportation will some problems are going to follow. For example, air pollution, noise, pollution, heavy traffic and so on.
In fact, I am not too optimistic about the consequence of theexpansion. The main reason is maybe I can not only enjoy the inconvenience of airplane anymore. The drawbacks may be much more than the advantages, for example, air pollution probably causes my nose allergies. noise pollution may let me sleep difficulty, and the traffic problem must make me need to go out earlier.
In conclusion, it is obvious that the development of local airport brings more disadvantages. However, the reason why I write this letter to you is hoping your reporting about this will be fair and balanced.
I look forward to the news recently.
Yours faithfully,
Artemis
