Having recently visited the eco-retreat, I feel compelled to bring several issues to your attention. Contrary to what had been advertised, the accommodation, staff, food and activities fell well below the standard I had been led to expect.
The accommodation was far from comfortable, as we were subjected to construction noise all day long. Moreover, it was poorly maintained: mould was found behind the wardrobe, which was unhygienic and made our stay very uncomfortable.
What I found particularly disappointing was the lack of activities, which were cancelled at the last minute. This left us with little else to do apart from complaining about the quality of the food, as even some yoghurt was out of date. Despite these shortcomings, the surrounding landscape was breathtaking.
In light of the circumstances, I believe some form of compensation, such as a full or partial refund, would be appropriate.
