Dear uncle John,

Yesterday I borrowed a piece of bowl. The bowl was very beautiful. It had some decorations outside and it is microproof also. Actually, I have a plan to make a separate dish for my friends which require a microproof bowl.

Today, one of my friend’s son broke the bowl. The age of the son was only 8. He accidentally broke the bowl and his father that is my friend scolded him a lot. I am extremely sorry and I will replace the glass bowl with a new one as soon as possible. I know this bowl carried some memory and importance in your life. Actually, I was gossipping with my friends and the bowl was kept on a table. It had some chocolates and chewing gums in the bowl. The boy was very fond of eating chocolates and he could not suppress his wish to take this chocolates. By hurrying to take this chocolates the bowl felt on the ground from his hand.

I apologise to you for incurring this loss. I will buy a new bowl and give it to you as soon as I can.
