Dear Kareem,

How’re you? Hope you’re doing great. I’m writing to you to apologize for unmeant action related to the laptop that you lent me.

To start, I hope you’ll understand when I say that the screen of your laptop has been damaged completely. I know that it is very special to you as it was your mother’s birthday present and an irreplaceable item that you use for your work.

Honestly, I was working on some tasks related to my work and I left the laptop on the table in the living room. Unfortunately, when I came back it was on the ground and the screen is totally destroyed because my niece was playing around and she unintentionally pushed it off the table.

Finally, I have been looking for an appropriate place to get it repaired. Fortunately, my uncle advised me to take it to a local store in the downtown, and I’ll go tomorrow to get it fixed it as much as it costs me.

I can’t describe how sorry and guilty I feel.
