Dear John,

I hope this letter finds you in a radiant health. I know it’s been long time since we met. But, firstly I would like to apologize you for not attending our meeting.

It was a tough situation for me as some unexpected things happended. I had to rush to the hospital, because my uncle had a serious car accident. No one was aware of the situation as we got a call from stranger about incident. Unfortunately, that day I was the only one who were spare, so I needed to go hospital for help.

Moreover, I understand that you are still feeling bad as i didn’t inform you early. But, after reaching the hospital I suddenly realized about it. I tried you calling from hospital through their landline phone as my phone was dead. You did not pick up the call

I genuienly value our friendship. And, I am really hoping that you understand the situation. I apologise for any inconvenience. I hope we can reschedule our meeting as per your time. Please let me know your availability.
