I hope this letter will not ruin your day.Thank you so much for inviting me over for your wedding,its truly an honour to be considered a part of such a special moment in your life.

Unfortunately,I am so sick to say that i wont be able to attent such an amazing friend wedding.It falls on the same day as a long planned family event,my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary.As you can see,its a rare and meaningful occasion for our family.

I feel truly disappointed to be missing your big day.I was beyond exited to see you walk down the aisle and sharing in your happiness.
