Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to rectify a piece of information published in your esteemed newspaper on July 21, 2024, in Sunday’s special edition.
The front page of your paper covered a story on the tourist destinations in our area. Although the majority of the information was correct, the article has some discrepancies concerning the issue of law and order in the locality. As the area is safe and tourists can wander freely, I believe there might be a misunderstanding or oversight regarding the objective situation of tourist safety in the area. Undoubtedly, it is important for magazines to publish correct information and avoid distorted facts because it comes under the purview of yellow journalism and also goes against journalistic ethics.
To address this discrepancy , I demand an immediate apology and corrigendum published in your next edition so that people may not get distracted and the local economy may not suffer due to the decrease in tourists.
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks.
Yours faithfully,
abc
