Dear Sir or madam,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing this letter to apprise you about the International Student Award scholarship, which offer to the students annually for their academic excellence.

I would like to inform you that, currently I am pursuing my master’s in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Windsor. As I am dedicated student about learning new things and apply my finding to solve real world pressing problem. As an international student I find it difficult to meet both end needs include financial and surviving costs.

As aforementioned, due to my hard work and initiative approach I did not only doing good at academic, but also performed well in other extra curricular activities, such as football and hockey during our University Cup this season.

I would also like to inform you that, this semester I am working on thesis related to machine learning algorithm that significantly optimize energy consumption in smart grid, which reflects the today’s energy problems and solutions.

I’m grateful if you consider my application. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
