Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for the internship position in your company. My name is Dr Sameena vahora, I am a general practitioner with three years of experience at a public hospital in Anand.

I first learned about the internship through an advertisement published in a local newspaper two days back where your company advertised the position to qualified healthcare professionals. As your company is well known for developing affordable medicines, I was keen to apply without any delay.

I believe that I will be a suitable candidate for this for a few reasons. Firstly, my years of clinical experience have given me a thorough understanding of how medicines work in real patients. Secondly, I assisted with a hospital study on antibiotic resistance, which strengthened my skills in data collection and analysis. In addition, I am eager to apply my clinical knowledge to the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in clinical research.

I would greatly appreciate the opporunity to contibute to your team while developing new skills. I have attached my CV for your reference and would welcome the chance to attend an interview.
