Dear Jenny,
I hope this letter finds you in good health.
You may find yourself in a surprise when knowing that I am no longer in Hai Phong but had just moved to Hanoi last Friday. Though this is not a sudden decision, I am sorry that I did not have an appropriate time to let you know as you are on a business trip. My father’s health has been not going well recently, and my mother asked me to live closer to help her in taking care of him.
I am more than happy to share with you about my new residence in Hanoi. It’s a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment located in a tranquil area of Tay Ho district. Though it is not as spacious as my previous one in Hai Phong, the little garden on the rooftop of the residential building is an ideal place for me to enjoy free time by myself. Another reason I chose this apartment is that pets are allowed in this building so I can bring my little kitten with me.
Furthermore, the neighbourhood is very nice and convenient. It is a 5-minute walking distance to West Lake, the biggest lake in Hanoi, and takes less than 10 minutes to the local market. Since I moved here, I have created a good daily routine by bicycling a lake-round and getting some fresh food from the local market before going to work.
I’m looking forward to having you visited me in the coming time.
Best regards,
Van Nguyen
