Dear Emma,

Hope you are in good health and spirit. It’s been a long time since we have caught up. I am writing to let you know that I have switched to a new job. Do you remember when we met last year I told you about the long distance I have to travel to reach to my office place on daily basis? Well, I was looking for a new job since then and finally got it.

I have been appointed as an HR Specialist at my new workplace. As you know I’ve completed my human resource professional certification last September which really add on to my resume. I am mainly handling recruitment and compensations sections currently.

Additionally, the best part is that I am allowed to work from home on Mondays and Thursdays. That’s a good relief as well. Also, the pay they have offered me is more than the previous company, so, surely, I owe you a treat for that.
