Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of food and service at your restaurant last week. I visited your hotel to celebrate my son’s birthday party on Saturday evening, but the occasions was ruined because of substandard food and below par service.

Firstly, the food served to us was rotten as it was emitting unpleasent odour. The meat was undercooked and the pasta was inedible because of extra spices. Secondly, the restaurant staff lacked professionalism, as they misbehaved with me when I asked for complimentary beverages.

As I mentioned it was the birthday event of my son, the whole occasion was spoiled because of the food quality and waiter’s behaviour. We had to leave and go to other restaurant to celebrate the birthday party.

Given the disappointing experience, I would like to request a full refund of the payment I made for the food. Moreover, I would appreciate a written explaination of the steps your restaurant intends to take to prevent such incidents from recurring.

I hope you will give my request careful consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
