Hey Diana,

I just got back from an amazing trip to a beautiful lake in Kazakhstan called Alakol, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. It took a full day to get there by bus. The ticket was cheap, but my legs were swollen when I tried to stand up—definitely not the most comfortable ride.

I booked a room in a nice hotel online, so at least I didn’t have to worry about sleeping on the floor. The lake itself was stunning. The water was cold and light blue, perfect for swimming.

On the way back, I almost lost my phone—I left it in my room. Luckily, a kind man found it and gave it back to me.

Overall, I had a great time, and I’m planning to go back the next time I’m on vacation.
