Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to make a complaint about my roommate.
Unfortunately, she is too noisy, such as listening to music at a high volume, and on several occasions, she goes to sleep too late. These are extremely disturbing to me. As a result of this, I can concentrate on my studies significantly more difficulty than previously, near any of my former roommates. In addition, due to the noise, which she makes upon her arrival, I cannot sleep well and restfully. Due to these facts, my results have become worse, including exam marks.
Therefore, I would like to ask you to provide another room for me to live in the college. Having a roommate is generally not an inconvenience for me. I already lived in a room with other students previously, and until now, it has never caused any issues for me. So far, I have always been able to make good friendships with my previous roommates. Although I would prefer to have a single room in the college, if this is possible. If its price is a little higher, that is not an issue for me.
I would be grateful if you could address this problem at your earliest convenience.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,Susan Taylor
