Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my concern about the room arrangement at Bates Residence, where I find it challenging to live with my roommate.
After only a few weeks into the school year, I unfortunately realize that it is uncomfortable to live with my current roommate. This is because my roommate usually plays video games very late at night, and he usually shouts very loudly. This affects my sleep tremendously; as a result, I frequently feel tired waking up, and struggle to pay attention to the lectures. Furthermore, he invites his friends to our room every night to play games, making it difficult for me to focus on my study.
Despite my effort to discuss the situation with him, the problems continue. Thus, it would be greatly appreciated if I could get a new accommodation. Given the current experience, I would prefer a studio apartment since this type of room offers a quieter environment, helping me to focus on my study and improve my sleep quality.
Thank you for considering my concern. I look forward to your prompt action to resolve the issue.
Yours faithfully,
Henry Tu
