Dear Keith,
How are you doing? I hope you and your family are doing well.
It’s great to hear about your interesting trip. I write this letter to share with you some exciting information about my holiday.
To unwind after a hard semester of studying, I decided to visit An Giang province with my best friend from university, Thanh. This is one of the most fascinating tourist destinations in the Mekong Delta.
An Giang is famous for its richness in religions and superstitiousness, all of which we were always curious about. First, we visited Ba Chua Xu Pagoda, the sacred symbolic temple of An Giang that is associated with a mysterious legend of the Goddess of the region. Thanh and I also bought some local fruits and flowers to worship and sent our prayers to the Goddess.
What’s next, we explored the majestic and spectacular beauty of Cam Mountain, one of the highest mountains in the Mekong Delta. Believe me, the panoramic view of the whole rice field from the top of the mountain was truly a feast for the eyes! If you can’t imagine how breath-taking the sight is, look at the amazing photos I attached to this email.
Besides the visit to the sacred places, of course we found an amusing place to entertain ourselves. Thanh and I had unforgettable moments at Thang Long Water Park in Chau Doc City. Even after returning home, we wish we were still playing the water slides and attending joyful minigames with other tourists. I swear this is the most memorable amusement park I have ever been to.
What do you think about these interesting activities? I hope that I have a chance to take you to An Giang in the next holiday. I look forward to hearing more about your trip to the sea in the following email.
Best regards,
