Dear Ade,
I am really very sorry for damaging your gameboard. It was very unintentional and I really wish I could turn back the hands of time to undo what had happened.
It happened last week Thursday after I had borrowed it from you on Tuesday. I was hoping to return it the next day which was Friday since I had something to do in your neighbourhood. My sister and my little nieces came visiting. As a big aunty, I had to entertain them so I brought out the gameboard to play with my sister while my neices were playing around. Not too long afterwards, I stood up to go check the food I was cooking when I heard a loud scream. One of my neices had fallen while running and she hit the stool where the gameboard was. The gameboard fell and broke into a million pieces.
I was shattered upon seeing the site of the incident. I know how much you long you kept and treasued your gameboard. At the same time, I knew my niece did not intentionally break it. I was more glad that she was not seriously hurt.
I have googled for places where I can find the gameboard, and I have found a couple stores onlines. I know it cannot replace the one you lost, but I hope you find as it as useful as the other one. Apologies for all the inconveniences this might have caused. Thank you for understanding.
Yours sincerely,
Grace.
