Dear Sir,
I am writing to apologise for not attending the meeting yesterday. I was going to attend the
meeting and I even prepared the speech that I was supposed to give to our clients. But due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to attend that.
I have to take my kid to the hospital, that is the reason I missed the meeting. Actully, my kid fell yesterday while playing football and broke his leg, so I had to take him to the hospital urgently. After reaching the hospital, I realised that my mobile didn’t have battery so for that reason I was not able to inform you about the incident.
To make it up for missing the meeting, I assure you that i will collect the meeting notes from someone and finish the work before the deadline. I will make sure in the future if for some reason I will not able to attend the meeting I will inform you about that in advance.
