Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to express my interest in applying for a voluntary work position at your museum as it was advertised in the city newspaper.

Being a postgraduate student at KPU, I am required to complete at least 120 hours as a volunteer and then document a report on my experience in order to complete a pre-requisite course. I am deeply interested in historical artifacts and findings and would like to expand my horizon by working at City Museum.

Having done a Bachelor’s in History with Archaeology as a minor, I have great understanding of historical findings. I have done a six-month internship as an exhibition manager for the Archaeological Survey of India. I am available full-time for 7 days a week during the summer break and part-time on weekends for the other months.

I look forward to your reply as soon as possible. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
