The graph is an illustration of how different age brackets changed from 1960 and forecasts to 2040. Overall, group of 0 to 19 and 20 to 55 year-old people witnessed a downward trend and tend to go on the same pattern until 2040, while people at the age of over 55 were on the contrast.

The 20-55 group peaked at 70% after an increase from 55% in 1960, then dropped by 10% in 1990, hit 50% in 2020, and it is predicted to be around 45% in 2040. Starting from 30% in 1960, group of 0-19 year-old people declined by 10% in 30 years, then gradually went down to just over 10 percent in 2020, after that the forecast showed a consistently decrease until 2024, bottoming at 10%.

In contrast, the 55+ bracket showed an incredible overtaking, when started in 1960 with approximately 10% before significantly increasing to 20% in 1990 (equalized 0-19 age group), then continued to rose to nearly 40 percent in 2020, taking the second position, and it was forecasted to surpass others in 2040, reaching the top at almost 60%.
