Dear Mary,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to tell you some amazing news! I have finally passed my English exam, and I got the results yesterday. I am so happy, and I want to say thank you very much for your help. I really could not do it without you.

Your help was the most useful thing for me because you explained difficult grammar so well. Before we studied together, I was very worried about the speaking part, but vocabulary and topics we practiced were exactly what I needed. Also, you checked my essays and showed me how to fix mistakes.

I think having a friend who supports you is one of the best opportunity to study well. Now that the stress is over, we should celebrate! Are you free sometime next week? We can meet up in our favorite cafe or go for a walk. Let me know what day is best for you.
