The given table depicts the percentage of selected electronic households ued in New Zealand from 2002 to 2020 displaying rising and falling process of equipments.

Overall,ownership of most electronics items increased over the period. Washing machines and colors TVs remained the most common household appliences in both years, video recorders were the only item to become less common.

in 2002, washing machines were owned by 97% of households, making them the most popular item, followed closely by colour TVs at 95%. by 2020,these figures had risen slightly to 98% and 99%,respectively. Computer ownership also increased as well as the prppertion of dishwashers also grew more modestly from 45% to 55%.

The most dramatic rise was seen in cell phone ownership, which quadrupled from 20% to 80% by te end of period. Similarly,digital cameras became much mpore widespread, increasing sharply from just 2% to 40%. However, the percentage of households owning video recorders fell from 755 to 60%, suggesting that this technology became less popular,probably due to advances in newer digital devices.
