Overall, there is only 3% of drinkable water in the world. Fresh water is present in three different forms (ground water, ice and glaciers, and surface water). Economics of Egypt and Saudi Arabia mainly use water for agriculture. However, Canada is majorly consuming water for its Industry.
Salt water has a fraction of 97% in global water distribution . Whereas, fresh water has much lower proportion of 3%. Most of this water is present in iced form in glaciers accounting 79%, 20% is ground water and just 1% makes the surface water.
The Egypt consumes around 78% of its water for agriculture, followed Saudi Arabia that accounts for approximately 76%. On the other hand, the Canada uses about 10% of its water in agriculture and their major percentile (80%) of water consumption is for industrial segment.
