The line graph given illustrated the amounts of oil barrel supply and demand in China for more than 2 decades period since 1982. Overall, both of consumption and production of oil at that period had an upward trend, with different paces respectively. Also, both of the amount met at the same record between 1990 and 1994.
In 1982, the production and consumption of oil barrels per day in China had a similar amounts–around 2 millions of oil barrels, but the production had more. In the next 4 years, the production was noticably increased up to a million barrels improvements, but then remained stable until 1994. Contrastly, the consumption rate prevailed consistency with a slight growth until 1990, but then increased sharply until passed the production rate until reached about 3.5 millions barrels in 1994.
For the next two years, the alteration of supply and demand had a progress slightly; a half-million for the consumption, and less than that for the production. And for the next remaining 19 years, the supply of the oil was rocketed until reached the maximum at more than 6 millions barrels, while the production could not keep up with that and grew moderately until 3,5 millions.
