Overall, most expenses saw the gradually decreases throughout the survey due to a genarally frugal lifestyle. On the contrary, percentage of spending on clothing significantly rose in the end of period while spending on energy unvitally went down in 2000. Food expense witnessed an intensive drop after 1970.

In 1960, clothing became an popular spending aspects when started rising quickly to roughly 15% in 1980. These was an slightly gradual drop from 20%, 10%, 5% respectively in leisure, transport, and energy between 1960 and 1980 while Food spending recorded an signficant drop from 35% to 30% in 1970 then reached roughly 25% in 1980.

By 1980, Food spending continued to go down to 15% in 2000 and was overtaken its first place by ratio of clothing spending, which slowed down its rising speed from 15% in 1980 to 17.5% in 2000.
