Dear Pat,
It’s great to hear from you mate! I’m glad to know all is going well with your moving. I’m writing in reply to your email to give you some suggestions about dealing with the difficulties you are facing in the new school at the moment.
I had the same situation, when we moved to this city and I was a new student in the classroom where all were already friends from previous years, so I can completely feel you. My first advice to you is not to be shy and try to start conversation with other peers in your classroom, I’m sure they would enjoy hanging out with you, you are such a cool guy. Also, you can join school clubs, I know you are good in basketball, give it a go and play with them, they will be shocked after seeing your skills. You can easily make friends if you find other students with same interests. I quess the best way is joining clubs that you like.
The last one, try to get good marks in exams, it would be so important to get a good marks this term, as everyone wants to know how good you are in your studies, so do your best. I know it’s hard.
I’m eagerly waiting for your reply to this letter.
All the best,
Mahsa
