Overall, the maximum and minimum temperatures in Brisband are much higher than those of Canberra, while the days of rainfall do not follow the same trend.
Regarding the graph, the maximum temperatures in the two cities are almost the same during the first four months. In May, the average temperature in Brisband rises to around 23 degrees Celsius, then dropping in the next two months before gradually increasing until reaching its peak at just below 30 degrees Celsius in the last month of the year. However, Canberra showed a significant decrease of maximum temperature between April and July, then the figure constantly rises to around 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures in January are above 20 degrees and below 15 degrees in Brisband and Canberra respectively, then gradually going down to the lowest of 10 degrees in July in Brisband and over 0 degree in June and July in Canberra. Following the same trend as the average highest temperatures, the minimum temperatures in both cities gradually recover from August to December, peaking at 20 degrees and over 10 degrees respectively in the last observed month.
Turning to the average days with rainfall, Brisband has more days than the other during the first five months, and from November to December, with the peak at 14 days in February and March, while Canberra are superior in the number of rainy days, 8 in September and 10 in the other four months, while Brisband’s rainy days are no more than 8.
