Overall, the most noticeable feature from this graph is that streams method show a significant increase while the buyer of CDs see a moderate decline. Furthermore,The figure of user streaming music gradually became the most popular despite the lowest data of people who stream in the beginning of the period.

In 2011, the number of CDs users was the largest with over 50 millions. This followed by downloads with 35 millions customers, which was three times as big as Streams method, at 35 compared to 8 million. In the next 3 years, the data of users choosing to use streams and downloads took up 13 million and 41 million respectively. On the other hand, CDs purchasers had shown a gradual fall.

In 2015, streams still increased considerably by 7 million compared with 2014. In contrast, the figure of downloads and CDs sales dropped substantially, with 40 as opposed to 32. In the next 3 years, the percentage of overall music sales by streams continued to climb quickly and stopped at 40 million. However, Downloads users decreased constantly by 10 million. Moreover, The demand for the CDs continued to dwindle and stopped at 25 million.
