In 2001, the left side includes a section for fiction running along the top, history on the far left, a self-help section beneath it, and a librarian's desk to the far bottom-left corner adjacent to the entrance. The middle area has four tables next to a section for newspapers and periodicals on the right. In 2009, the left side now features a section for fiction running the top, a narrow law section beneath history, an enlarged self-help area below, and the librarian's desk remains in its original position. The center now houses two smaller tables, a larger children's area along the top right, and a section for non-fiction to the right of self-help. Overall, the library had significant increase in books and other facilities whereas some furnitures remained the same over the years.
In detail, there were more variety of book genres in 2009 such as history, fiction, self help, kitchen, economics and law compared to 2001 which only had self-help, history and fiction books. Moreover, all book shelves were shifted to the left side of the library to give way for more tables at the back of the library. In addition, children’s area did not exist in 2001 but were built infront of the tables at the end of the library in 2009.
Next, eight small tables situated in the middle of the library in 2001 were transformed to four long tables in 2009. On the right side of the library in 2001, newspapers and periodicals were replaced by films and DVDs in 2009 and there were two new computers in front of them.
