Overall, what stands out from the graph is that while the number of people overseas for business and holiday witnessed a considerable fluctuation the number of visitors whose intention was meeting friends and relatives constantly increased.

Regarding Holiday purposes, it had the highest number of visitors which followed by significant growth. Additionally, in the period of 1994-1999 the proportion overseas had reached 9 million people . However, after this noticeable improvement the number of guests dropped marginally to 6,5 million people. Meanwhile, the quantity of visitors for business plans, initially, decreased slightly by constituting 4 million travelers. But this number rose rapidly and picked 8 million overseas.

Turning to tourists who came to meet their mates and relatives, firstly they account for about 3,5 million individuals. Their numbers started to recover gradually. It is clearly seen that in 2009 they reached a peak level by constituting over 8 million visitors, However this quantity started to reduce.
