The diagram below demonstrate how the chocolate is produced that we consume in our daily life.
Overall, the procedure to make chocolate requires ten stages where it commenced with cacao tree and ends with liquid chocolate.
To embark on, cacao tree play a vital role as a raw material where it is grown in South America, Africa and Indonesia. Cacao tree is kept until it become ripe and turned into red pods. Moreover, pods are harvested from the tree and white cocoa beans are extracted from shells. In addition, beans are taken for fermentation and spreaded in sunlight to make dried grains. Also, kernels are packed into the large sacks for storage and transport by roadways.
Shifiting towards the second school of thought, futher stages requires technological method. Beans are taken to the factory for roasting upto 350 degree celsius. Similary, roasted beans are taken for crusting by removing the outshells of the nuts. And, inner part of the seeds are pressed to form edible liquid chocolate.
