Band 6: You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The table below shows the changes in the percentage of lawyers choosing jobs in different industries in a specific country from 2001 to 2016. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The table illustrates the difference in the ratios of graduated lawyers in variety industries in a particular country from 2001 to 2016. While the highest figures of both male and female lawyers took place in government, the lowest percentage of employee’s lawyer belonged to business industry.

As can be seen from the table in 2001, the highest proportion of both gender’s career selected was in Government, with 45% men and 41% women. In contrast, employees in business industry took the lowest figure, at 14% for both male and female. Additionally, the second rank ratio of choosing job was in others industry with 26% male and 28% female. And the third level of percentage of lawyer belonged to private lawyer with 15% and 17%.

In 2016, lawyers who working in government still accounted for the maximum ratio, with 38% male and 42% female. And business attracted minimum percentage of employees, 14% men and 21% women. Furthermore, proportion of lawyers working in others industry and becoming private lawyer was the choice after government choosen.
