The two pie charts illustrate the population percentage of some of the member countries of the European Union which are Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Poland including some other countries in 1998 and 2007.
Overall, Germany witnessed the highest rise in its population both in 1998 and in 2007. Though there wasn’t drastic changes in other countries’ population. In general, all the countries had moderate ups and downs in its population percentage.
Germany had the highest percentage of 17.1 though it declined to 16.6% in 2007. Similarly, the country that holds the 2nd highest position in popluation increase is France with a percentage of 12.5% in 1998 which increased slightly in 2007 which is 12.8%. However, The United Kingdom and Italy share similar positions with just 1 percent diffrerence in both the countires and there’s not much high rise of population neither in 1998 nor in 2007. In contrary to these countries, Spain and Poland seem to have the least increase in population. Spain in 1998 had a percentage of 8.3, and in 2007 it reached to 9.0% which demonstrates a moderate increase. In contrast, Poland seems to be the only country which population decreased in 2007 with a percentage of 7.7 which was 8.0% in 1998. All the other countries depicted in the pie charts held 29.4% in 1998 with a slight increase in 2007, reaching its peak at 29.7%.
