Overall, The number of british people making donations rose drastically from age 18-50 in the year 1990 then it dropped in the subsequent ages untill above 65 years while in 2010 it peaked at the ages of 51-65 then a slight decline in above 65 years.
To begin on, slightly above 15% of british nationals of the age 18-25 donated money in the year 1990, a drastic increase for age group 26-35 to about 30% in the same year, while those fo ages 36-50 contributed the highest amout then a slight decline to 35% of ages 51-65 and slightly above 30% for above 65 years. On the other hand, the year 2010 recorded a lowest number of contributors for ages 18-25 at slightly above 5%, then a drastic rise to close to 25%, 35% for age group 26-35 and 36-50 respectively. Age group 51-65 recorded the highest number of contributors at close to 40% and a slight decline to 35% in above 65 years.
